My thoughts exactly. Last night I turn on MSNBC and hear Keith Olbermann: "...in three minutes it will have been five hours since Michael Jackson passed away...". Really? Seriously? There's not a lot to say, but they just can't shutthehellup. To see the entire world of news stop for this on major news networks has my panties officially in a wad.

Perhaps a better tribute to any of these folks would be if the networks STFU and let their families and friends grieve, regardless of their level of fame. Report it and move on.

seriously. All night and all day today.

Right on. We don't have cable anymore, and I was out last night anyway, but on any other day Farrah Fawcett's death would've been a huge deal--especially after her horrible cancer. Not that I've minded hearing "Thriller" on the radio three times in the last sixteen hours...
