This guy was moody! Used by my cousins. Their engagement pictures looked beautiful (I saw 5 or 6 at their wedding). The photographer was very gruff, not at all friendly to the guests. He stopped their processional and instructed them to kiss as they headed down the aisle. He also was instructing them on how fast to walk during the processional/recessional with hand gestures. One videographer I interviewed said she will no longer work on any wedding he does, because he blocks all of her shots intentionally. This photographer is not well-respected in the Pittsburgh area.

I wanted to update my previous post, because I don't want anyone using this vendor on my recommendation. It is almost a year from my wedding and I still don't have my video back. It was supposed to be done by Thanksgiving. Their day of service was great, but over a year to complete a video is beyond ridiculous.

BEWARE: TSI Photography aka JOHN COMA (F)

I just want to put this out there for all of you in Pittsburgh who are trying to find a photographer for your wedding. Do not get fooled like I did. TSI-aka JOHN COMA had a great package. The price was good and the service on the day of the wedding was good, however it is 2 years from my wedding and I still do not have my album, mother-in-law album, and video. We received the video for the first time on our 1 year anniversary. It was skipping, parts were missing, and it was scratched. I have picked out the album but don't have it. I have been in constant contact with him and so has my attorney with no luck. I have recently emailed him and called him several times.  He has not returned my phone calls or email. 

My advice: find someone else

John D'Alessio Photography - A+

What can I say about John? He did an outstanding job on not only our e-pics but on our wedding pics as well. Seriously, how many people get their pro pics back in a week???? He told us they'd be back when we got back from the honeymoon and sure enough they were!!! His package deals are great
and he's completely honest with you, which we truly appreciated. We purchased our proofs and our negatives so we can reprint as much as we want. That is going to be such an asset for us.  I highly recommend John and if Tim were knotting he'd go on and on because this was his favorite vendor.

MG&H Vidoegraphy - A+

I haven't seen any footage yet, so we'll see if that changes, but I doubt it. The videographers were really cool and I barely noticed them all night. They came to the rehearsal, which is really neat too. For the day of they get an A+.

Chris, Rachel, and Cara were fabulous. I felt like they really catered to our needs and desires for the look we wanted. Chris even snapped some shots of my dogs at the house at my request. They were both so professional, easy going and accommodating. I have not seen the proofs yet, but I can’t wait. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

John Schisler (A++++++++++)

By far our #1 vendor!!!  Johnny was AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!  He was buddy-buddy with the guys and having fun with us – and making faces at me to relax my cheesy-smile!  He was EVERYWHERE for EVERYTHING!  I can’t wait to see our pictures.  The next day everyone was raving about him!  My mom was amazed how almost every time she turned around, there he was.  My friends all think that they have ~50-100 pictures just of each one of them.  Then, there is the one best man who spilt open his chin doing the electric worm that we all egged him on to do including Johnny who was getting the action shots.  Johnny followed him into the bathroom and was saying “man that looks really bad” and then snapping 3 pictures.  He even called the next day to ask how best man was doing and wanted his phone #.  I can’t believe it that just put him onto the next level of vendors.  I mean it helps that I do know him and he’s friends with my MOH but still . . . if you want a reasonably priced top-notch photographer – Johnny is your man!  I think the best compliment was a friend in Baltimore who is getting married in September was asking how much he would charge to travel but then realized that she already signed a contract – but she said that she’s almost willing to lose that money for Johnny to be their photographer!

John Schisler (A+)

Though I haven't seen the professional pictures, I am sure they'll be awesome. John was a great guy; very personable. He uses photojournalistic style, which appeals to me. He was constantly snapping away, and also did some pre and post-ceremony posed pictures. I know he covered everything...I received pictures from about 10 friends, and the funny thing is that John is in so many of the pictures (taking our picture). He was always right there for each event, so he made it into so many non-pro pictures.

Epic Films Wedding Videography (http://epicfilms.tv)- One of our best vendors.  Super nice to work with and very professional.  Our wedding video is just perfect.  They captured so many events I would have missed without them. A+

Bob Brant Photograph - A

Bob Brant Photography - I love the formal wedding photos Bob and his assistant took for us.  We have tons of great formals and a few really nice candids.  I would have liked a few more candids but I didn't mention that before the wedding so I can't blame them at all.  They were very professional and wonderful to work with.
